Dubai Health Authority signs a Practical Arrangement with the IAEA

On 22 February, Dubai Health Authority (DHA) signed a Practical Arrangement (PA) with the International Atomic Energy Agency to enhance cooperation in the area of capacity building in nuclear medicine.

The practical arrangement was signed between Dr. Abdulrahman Mohammad  Al Jassmi, Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Health Authority, and Dazhu Yang, Deputy Director General of the IAEA Technical Cooperation Department.

The Arrangement facilitates the DHA to contribute on the IAEA Curricula for Nuclear Medicine Professionals (ICNMP), a state-of-the-art training programme which aims to improve, broaden and continually update the knowledge of nuclear medicine professionals around the world. It also expands the collaboration with training programmes for nuclear medicine professionals through the ICNMP platform.

It further helps coordinate meetings and workshops on clinical nuclear medicine practice and related research, and facilitates the exchange of data and expertise.
