Ambassador Hamad Alkaabi hosted the meeting of Ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states at the UAE Permanent Mission offices in Vienna on 16 April 2013.
Accredited Ambassadors and Envoys of the six GCC Member States to the IAEA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and the UAE) discussed issues of common interest and ways of developing and strengthening coordination in relevant work with the IAEA.
The meeting was held in the broader context of cooperation efforts between Member States in the Council. It also discussed priority work with the IAEA, means to utilize services the Agency provides, and ways to promote the common interests and strategic goals.
