The UAE shared its experience in developing its nuclear infrastructure during the IAEA Integrated Nuclear Infrastructure Group Workshop, held from 11-14 February 2013 at the IAEA‟s Vienna headquarters.
During the Technical Meeting on Topical Issues of Infrastructure Development: Nuclear Power Project Development in Emerging Nuclear Power States, delegates met with experts to learn on best practices and identify the main infrastructural challenges that arise when introducing nuclear power.
Ambassador Hamad Alkaabi, Permanent Representative to the IAEA, delivered a presentation to share the UAE‟s progress and best practices in infrastructure development for the nuclear power project.
The country presentation also covered aspects of nuclear human resources development, public information and capacity building with the IAEA.
